Standoff Icon Tutorial #1




- start with a blank 100x100 pixel box
- copy and paste or open screencap



- resize screencap to fit in the 100x100 pixel box
- paste screencap as a new layer

(Border icon template)
- copy border icon template, paste as a new layer, then darken it's layer
- merge all layers
- this is what the current status looks like:



- go to the adjust option on the menu - clarify - once
- duplicate layers, screen, merge
- this is what the newest version looks like:



- go the the paint brush tool- dry brush - match coloring to the top left background color, size of - brush set to 22, opacity 70%, brush over bottom section of the icon
- this is what the newest version looks like:



- create a new vector layer , use the writing/alphabet tool, font at copperplate gothic size 7, color to match her hair darker tones, type in "Rosemarie Ron"
- this is what the newest version looks like:




- use the paint brush tool, heart option, set on screen - opacity 70% - size 125
