The History of DoorMonkey.net
Once upon a time ... a family of stuffed animals came to live in Karen's household. The family of stuffed animals were mostly cows, and thus were given the name of the Moo Family. However, soon, non-cow species began to join the forces of the family, but were honorary Moos. The family included such greats as the Moo Cow, Moo Mar (marsupial koala bear), Moo Moo, Mega Moose, Baby Moo, etc. Then one Christmas, the Grinch was adopted into the Moo Family, and he was given his own name: the Grinch DeWalt.
At this point, Karen's household knew a website would one day be named in honor of the grinch. And jokes and plans were made over the next few years. More Moos and honorary Moos were added to the family, one of the latest to be the Door Monkey. It was at this time that plans were in the works to combine Karen's Icons and Karen's Artwork into one site. And website names were batted around, including "Karen's Art" and other such easy to forget titles. As was "thegrinchdewalt.com". However, Karen's household knew that name would be too long for a website, and decided that doormonkey.net was simple and not easily forgotten, yet would "honor" the Moo Family in turn as well.
Thus, DoorMonkey.net was born.
