Booth: Oh, that’s gotta be Bones. I gotta take it. Yep. I’m hurrying Bones.
Brennan: Do you need directions?
Booth: I bet you are looking beautiful. Huh? Cuz I am in the finest tux that money can rent!

Brennan: … this is my big night Booth.
Booth: Alright, listen Bones don’t worry. I will be there when they crown you Super Scientist. I will be the guy in the cocky belt buckle and the snazzy rented tux. Someone’s knocking at my door.
Brennan: How can they be knocking at your door if you’re already driving?

Brennan is dressed up and ready to go.
Brennan’s phone rings.
Brennan: Brennan
Gravedigger Voice: I’ve taken Seeley Booth. He has been buried alive. He has 21 hours t live. Bring me evidence of the SW5 Rental Store file in return for which you’ll receive GPS coordinates. If you involve law enforcement I’ll know and Seeley Booth will die. This is my final communication.
Cam: What’s going on?
Brennan: The gravedigger has Booth.

Then Booth in the captured spot - submarine? And he’s what – hallucinating … this guy from his past who is for sure dead. Teddy.

Jack shows the evidence, talks about almost having figured it out with the evidence.
Brennan: Booth doesn’t have that kind of time.
Argue about the evidence and turning it over.

Jack: Brennan, I’m telling you the answer is in there. 10 hours.
Brennan: 8. And Dr. Hodgins is never left alone.
Angela: You don’t trust him?
Brennan: No I don’t.
Aww, the sad looks – such intensity.

And Brennan is just IGNORING this big scientist thing she had Booth going to with/for her. LOVE it … she’s ONLY focused on Booth.

Angela: We’ll get Booth back.
Brennan: You can’t know that.
Angela: Brennan – I just think that.
Brennan: Work please
Ahhh Brennan is so worried.

Brennan: The odds are not acceptable.
Jack: Why?
Brennan: Because we don’t have Booth to help.
Cam mentions felony and thinking about it.
Brennan: Not you. Me. I can do it alone.
Awwwww – this is KILLING me.

Booth: Any lock worth picking is worth kicking.

Awwwwww and Booth’s son Parker was named after Teddy – Teddy Parker. So sweet. And Booth about Parker, he’s like a kid, only better. But Booth only said ‘she likes me, she didn’t love me’ about the mother. Then Booth realizes that the ship is rigged with C4 explosives and it’s set to blow. UH OH.

Jack keeps arguing about turning over the evidence. Clearly Brennan is torn.
Angela: Somebody you love is buried alive. You’re allowed to save them no matter how irrational.
Brennan: I don’t love Booth
Angela: Yes you do. So do I. So do all of us. Just take my advice and hand over the evidence and get Booth.
Brennan: Let’s do it. Come on let’s do it.

Brennan is upset that the Grave Digger hasn’t turned over the coordinates. Sweets assumes the grave digger is cleaning up, getting rid of everyone and everything related to him. Gang assumes Booth is/will be dead. Brennan refuses to accept that.
Brennan: No no. It’s not over. And I know exactly who to ask for help.
Brennan asks Jared to hijack the remains of Thomas Vega.
Jared: I’m in the military intelligence. We don’t hijack dead bodies.
Brennan: The victim’s name is Thomas Vega.
Jared: So you want me to steal the remains of a murder victim from the FBI?
Brennan: YES! As soon as possible please.
Jared: I could make a few calls.
Brennan: No. This is not a situation where you make a few phone calls.
Jared: That’s who I am, Tempe. I’m the guy who makes a few calls.
Brennan: Booth has never turned his back on you. You are a selfish coward, and you never deserved him.
She storms off!

Booth is clearly upset by his past with Teddy and how Teddy died.
Teddy: You got a partner now?
Booth: Yeah
Teddy: You two tight?
Booth: <stumbling on his words> Yeah we’re uh you’d like her. She’s -
Teddy: Way to go Sarge!

And oooo Booth and Teddy and the anniversary of Teddy’s death and the flowers that Claire leaves. And Teddy asks for a favor – tomorrow’s the anniversary and Teddy asks Booth to tell Claire that Teddy loved her – he’d never said it.

Teddy: What – you’ve never loved somebody and didn’t say it?
BIG PAUSE with Booth’s intense look!
Teddy: See, maybe that’s why I’m here. Get you to say I love you to somebody.

Then someone – a woman - showed up to demand jurisdiction of the case. And takes over and the squints suspect HER! Brennan demands to see the warrant and realizes the woman has broken ribs – she’s the gravedigger.
Jared: Can you prove it?
Brennan: No we can’t. Is that a problem?
Jared: Not for me. You got a place to lock her up?

Brennan: Where is Booth?
Sweets: She’s not going to say anything.
He explains why.
I LOVE that they are holding her hostage. So adorable. And Jared has taken over – good for him – and got authorities involved.
Jared: I got you bitch!
GREAT LINE!

Booth’s belt buckle is used to trigger the blast …. Teddy takes over then BOOM! SHEESH.
I love the intensity of the squints with the woman GraveDigger and their arguing about how to handle it, etc.

And back with Teddy and Booth – poor Booth can’t see and Teddy is seriously hurt again. And they are working toward the light – which we assume is outside. And Booth was apologizing for getting Teddy killed. Teddy says that Booth told him to get down twice. He came to tell Booth it wasn’t his fault, that he didn’t listen back then. Booth’s flashback – so poignant.

And good old Jack figures out it’s an old ship, and Angela figures out prepping some old navy ship to be sunk for a reef. Jared makes a call. Angela tells Brennan they know where Booth is. Jared is getting a chopper to take her there. Brennan goes to leave, then takes a briefcase and smacks the gravedigger.

Jared calls Brennan on the helicopter, she has only 5 mintues – due to not stopping detination. Jared is in handcuffs.

On deck of the ship, Booth stumbles out, sees helicopter. Teddy tells Booth he knew what he did for him. Teddy is dying. Brennan yells out window:
Brennan: Booth! Hurry. Come on. Hurry Booth come on! Booth come on. Hurry
Booth races over to the helicopter and jumps in and they hug TIGHT in their seats in the chopper as it flies off. That expression. And the ship blows up.

At graveyard:
Booth: Thanks for coming to get me Bones.
Bones: You should have stayed in the hospital another day.
Booth: No I didn’t mean … getting me out of the hospital. I mean coming out on a helicopter – to the ship. Thanks for saving my life.
Brennan nods, pulls out a cocky belt buckle.
Brennan: I got you this.
Booth: Ha ha ha – cocky. How did you find that? That’s hard to find.
Brennan: I read through your report. Seems you’d need two people to do most of what you did.
Booth: I had help – it was a ghost
Brennan: You were injured, drugged, disoriented, breathing bad air – there are no such things as ghosts.
Booth: Whatever you have to tell yourself there Bones.
Brennan: Whose ghost?
Booth: He’s buried over there.
Brennan: The ghost?
Booth: Corp Edward Parker. Slain while serving his country. He was twenty. He was just a kid.
Brennan: Was it uh - your fault that he died?
Booth: No. Fortunes of war. Wasn’t my fault.
Booth: See that woman over there? Her name is Claire. I have a message for her from Teddy.
Brennan: A message from a ghost?
Booth: You wait here okay
Brennan: You’re going to deliver a message to that woman from a ghost?
Booth walks over – they hug.
Brennan sees Teddy (she doesn’t know that’s who he is – he’s just a man in uniform) walk up.
Teddy to Brennan: Beautiful day. Makes you glad to be alive.
Brennan: Yes it does.
Booth looks back, sees Teddy by Brennan, they all wave.
