Bones: Why do you care about my relationship with my father Booth? <something about being all too happy to arrest him>
Booth: Look Bones it’s not about being happy it’s about doing my job.

<She’s very demanding to a bomb tech about the van going to the Jeffersonian, and Booth pretty much placates the guy and asks him to obey and make the call to get it sent to the Jeffersonian>
Booth: Bones come on you’re a little harsh there. Maybe you want to talk it out?

And too cute how she refused to go with Booth because she was going to see her Dad, like Caroline and Booth had planned.

Bones: <in response to Max commenting on the niceness of the meeting room> This is Booth’s not me.
Max: Well you thank him for me. I always liked Booth. Nicest guy that ever arrested me.
Bones: Touching.

Loved how Booth brought up her dad, asked about him. Loved the comparison he made to the Nash girl wanting to have spent one more day with her mother, just as Brennan would probably want to have been able to spend another day with her Dad if something happened to him.

Loved how Caroline just right on entered the Jeffersonian secure area, despite the alarms!

Booth: <to Brennan> Are you coming?
Bones: I can’t ….. <something about helping Zach remove shrapnel> and then I have to buy socks for my dad.
Caroline: Leave her be, sheriff. <drags Booth off> Absence makes the heart grow fonder
Booth: Socks?

Loved how Booth kept touching Brennan’s back while at the FBI with Sam ….
Sam: Is she really necessary?
Booth: She’s my partner
Sam: If she were a guy I’d deck her
Then Brennan had to make the explanation that today it’s not necessary to make that distinction between sexes!

Brennan is upset that Sam sees the report first, when Booth is the lead on the case
Sam: You know Booth she must be really good in bed otherwise I don't see why you keep her around <something like why else would he keep her around>
Brennan: I am … very good but Booth has no direct knowledge of that fact
And how uncomfortable Booth was!

She brings him a cup of coffee!
Booth: Thanks. So uh how did your dad like his socks?
Brennan: Fine
Booth: That’s sort of a way to start a conversation there Bones
Brennan: I know
Booth: I should never have gotten in the middle of all this. I'm sorry. I was just, I'm just trying to help.
Brennan: He wanted me to testify on his behalf. He just wants to use me.
Booth: Well he's a con man, Bones, that doesn't mean that he doesn't love you. He's just looking for a little payback.
Brennan: Payback?
Booth: Yeah, he's thinking he got arrested so he could spend some more time with you. I mean, you could at least return the favor by doing something nice for him.
Brennan: I'm not sure I want a father who's always keeping score.
Booth: Yeah, sounds like you are too.
Brennan: You know what You’re right. This is none of your business
Booth: You know what Bones you’ll never forgive yourself if you don’t cut him some slack because you’re afraid of getting hurt <or something like that>

Brennan: Probably male menopause
Booth: What? He’s a good man. <something about myth of male menopause>
Brennan goes into scientific explanation about it, erectile dysfunction etc ….
Booth: Let’s just keep the conversation up shall we?
Brennan: You’re very testy
Booth: I’m only 35!
Brennan: Okay okay
Booth: They make little blue pills for that

Booth: <when Brennan pulls out a HUGE gun> Gee, why didn’t you bring the big one?
Then she tries to walk in front of him going into the cabin and he makes her go behind him!

Letter from the mother to her daughter … over Booth and Brennan going to arrest the dad …
Brennan voice over < reading letter, these are just parts of it>: I know we don’t always agree on how, but we both hoped for the same thing: a just world. If I’ve ever learned anything it’s that we can never let the chaos and injustice make us so blind with anger that we become part of the problem. Understanding, compassion, kindness and love are the only true revolutionary ideals. When we compromise those, we become what we despise, and we loose our humanity. The world might see my legacy as one of violence and destruction, but I know that you are my real legacy and for that I will be thankful every day.

Brennan: I saw my father
Booth: <sobering up> Aw I didn’t think that you were going to do that
Brennan: <big long anthropological talk about accepting change and her father>
Booth: Wow I didn’t get any of that
Brennan: <talks about the bottom line> He loves me
Booth: Why what happened?
Brennan: We played cards
Booth: Cool
Brennan: I killed him
Booth: Good for you
<then he leans on her, puts his head on her shoulder TWICE>
