Booth: That’s not me.
Brennan: It’s not him.
Ellen: Right. You must let me give you that therapist’s number dear.
Booth: Seriously. She’s got someone.
Brennan: Booth.
Booth: Nothing to be ashamed of … I mean, he’s a little short, but
Brennan: <something here then> he’s not freakishly tall like you are but –

Brennan: You read my book?
Booth: Of course!
<banter>
Brennan: I didn’t think you’d have time to read my book.
Booth: You have time to write it. I have time to read it. <something like this> Besides, you can’t avoid it … damn thing’s everywhere.

And he was concerned right off on how she’d take the “copycat” killer. He was trying to talk to her about it, and in comes good ole <bleh> Sully.

Booth: Yeah I got it covered here Sully
Sully: Two hands are better than one Booth
Booth: Last I looked, I have two hands. See look.
that was so great! Booth was definitely not wanting Sully to butt in on his Bones. It was so obvious how much that HE wants/needs to protect her and how HE alone thinks he can do it. ALONE. He sooo sooo does not want Sully taking care of Bones in anything important.

Then, Angela: Testosterone spill on aisle four

Booth: Why are you asking Sully? I’m in charge of this investigation.
Definitely wanted to be in charge of Bones’ protection. Period. LOVED it!

Brennan: I don’t need to be protected
Booth and Sully: Yes you do!

Did you all see how Brennan did the old Booth thing, speculating on motive? Loved how she was turning into Booth, or else drawing his style. Loved it.

Brennan: If it’s not him, Booth. There are two other murders in the book.
Booth: I know.
Ah, did you see how concerned he was for her, and how she was willing to share her concerns over the case and the book with him. When with everyone else, she’s all completely assuring everyone that it’s a coincidence.

Ah, and when bringing in the second murder case file to Booth, she sits on his desk!

Booth: She wasn’t this emotional before you came into the picture.
Sully: I thought you weren’t interested.
Then Booth rambling about not needing that or something? LOVED it! I’d love it if someone had Booth’s exact comment. But yeah. Sully can FOR SURE tell how interested and drawn to Brennan Booth is. Gah, I just gotta love this angst and Booth Sully jealousy. It’s clear for me that Sully is also jealous of Booth’s emotional closeness to Bones.

Brennan to Sully: We’re just having a fling. So don’t get carried away.
Even though I didn’t like Sully’s response, I LOVED her reaction to Sully. For me, she NEVER is this way to Booth. She KNOWS Booth knows her. He constantly surprises her with ways he knows her and wants to be there for her as a friend, understanding her. Sully hasn’t shown that. I loved how Brennan picked up on that. And fought Sully’s support of her. But loved Brennan’s support of her.

Booth: You know what, not a good idea Oliver! You know what …. This is probable cause. I’m going to give you 5 seconds. 5 … 4 … 3 2 1. <shoots the door> My shrink is going to be pissed.

Brennan about Sully to Angela: He doesn’t know me. Not really.
Then: I’ve already given up too much to him.
I just LOVE how she keeps on about Sully not knowing her. When, as I said before, she never ever would say that about her Booth.

Booth was all worried about Sully going in to see Oliver. And he really wanted to protect her, yet give her support. When he said that he knew she could take care of herself, you knew he meant it.
Booth to Sully: Everything with you too … uh you know what, never mind.
Brennanites
Then Brennan popped Oliver in the nose. And he fainted!

Discussion on Brennan going to her book publicity.
Booth: (very uncomfortable) I’m just going to be over here making a few calls -
Sully: Yeah, a little help, Booth. You think she should go alone?
Booth: No, but there seems to be other stuff going on too and I don’t really want to get involved.
Brennan: No, You agreed with him. You are involved.
Sully: Alright, so let Booth take you, and it won’t be personal between us.
Brennan: Fine.
Sully: Fine.
Pause
Booth: Fine.
Brennan: So let’s go.
at how sooooo uh well almost smug or happy over Brennan and Sully arguing. He he he.

And Brennan told the man publicist that she had wanted to go with Booth! Yep.

Then he drew his gun on the man running up wanting an autograph. And the way Booth had his arm constantly on Brennan when they got out of the vehicle. I just love how protective he is!

Booth: Far be it from me to stick my nose in your bedroom. <stuff about Sully being the good guy>
Brennan: I know Sully, Booth
Booth: And I know you, and when someone gets too close you push them away.

And then SHE was worried about him getting close to the fire ants! I just love how each of these two are ALWAYS looking out for the other one.

And even though I obviously don’t like Sully, I loved the scene with Sully and Booth toward the end, when he told Sully not to let Brennan bully him away. See …. Booth by far knows Brennan better, and her actions to push people away, by far better than Sully does. I loved that.

Booth: Do you need a candybar or something?

Booth to Sully about Brennan: And I trust her when she’s all calm and relaxed.
Ah, how cute! <squeee>

I just loved how Booth and Brennan and Jack worked out the killings. I love when Booth and Brennan get together and talk it out. They are such great partners.

And <squee> Brennan was with Booth bringing in each of the killers. I loved that, the end with three not one. And how she went with him to get them all. Partners always.

Booth: Kathy Reichs and the FBI guy in the back of the (AMG)? at his comment on the end of the book being better. He was sooo talking about him and her going at it! <lol> So cute!

Sully to Booth and Brennan: Congratulations. You guys make a great team.
Booth: True. So true.
And that smile! <swoon> And how he kept looking at Bones. I just loved it!
