Booth: Not for therapy. It’s an official evaluation, okay?

Brennan: <laughing, pointing at his tie> What is that?
Booth: What’s what?
Brennan: Your tie! It’s staid.
Booth: Staid?
Brennan: Yeah, boring. It looks like J Edgar Hoover picked it out.
Booth: Look, it’s something I’m working on, okay?
Brennan: In therapy?
Booth: Gordon Gordon says the, you know, the wild socks and the fancy ties, they’re all just you know quiet rebellions, helping me suppress other impulses.
Brennan: Isn’t that good?
Booth: You’d think so, right? But you know apparently all the other issues just have to rise to the top.
Brennan: Why do you call your psychaitrist Gordon Gordon?
Booth: Because that’s how he introduces himself. You know, Hi, I’m Gordon. Gordon Wyatt.
Brennan: Like James? James Bond?
Booth: Bond. James Bond. Not James. Ja - James whatever.

And look how buttoned up Booth was, black suit, black tie, “staid” black socks! Too cute.

And oh MY GOD! Bones knows Booth is/has been in therapy, but Cam didn’t! Shows how fast he’s moved on.
Brennan: You should ask your therapist about your issues with rich people.
Cam: You’re in therapy?
Brennan: You see the socks.
*Booth shoots Bones a look *

Damaged goods or very respectful? Yeah, see, Booth is “very respectful” not Sully.

Booth: I’m not going to help you get my partner into bed!
Sully: Why not. It’s not like you want her.
Sully: You want her.
Booth: Na, come on, Bones she’s my partner!
Sully: This is why you need psychiatric treatment. You’ve got the hots for your partner.
Booth: I’m not in psychiatric treatment! I’m being evaluated. There’s a difference.
Sully: I can see she’s a go-slow kind of girl, but give me a hint on how slow because too slow is just as bad as not slow enough.

Loved the bit where Bones was “bored” at Sully’s basketball game. And how she didn’t “get” the peanut joke! Or I thought she didn’t until later. Loved how the audience is already meant to not like him, with er a small body part. And I just LOVE Brennan, how she admits the other team wasn’t that good, and knocked his little plan down to impress her, and she went right into real talk, Sully’s er sexual organ.

Ah, and we have Gordon Gordon! And Gordon asked what Brennan asked, why Booth had an issue with rich people. I like Gordon, a lot.
Booth: You know what, I did the belt buckle, I did the tie, I did the socks. What else do you want from me?

And ooooo Booth is very smooth, but still tortured. I love how he caught on right away that Jack and the wife knew each other. And how PISSED he was by Jack’s not admitting to know the woman right off. And I really liked how Booth went off on him at the lab, too. Poor Booth. He’s got it bad all around. Jack nearly messing up his case. Sully wanting to get his partner in bed. Having to see the therapist. Poor Booth’s world isn’t so good right now.

Booth was having Chinese or Thai food with Gordon Gordon. Loved it! And the therapist asked him to go back to his socks, his ties, and his “provocative” belt buckle, etc!
Booth: Why is the belt buckle provocative?
Gordon: It’s a modern day cock piece. It forces the eye to the groin.
And the look at Booth’s face as he tugged on his belt!

And the prosecutor going off on the squint team! About dropping serial killers, smashing cars, blabbing names, etc. Hilarious! I just love her! “We win the case, he gets his job back. We loose, Booth shoots him.”

And when he was found guilty, did you see Booth automatically turn and touch Brennan on the leg, with that smile? And Cam tore up the resignation.
And Booth had the shrink picking out ties! Hilarious. But <ugh> to Brennan kissing Sully. And Jack and Angela looking over his old photos and holding each other!

Bones and Angela walk into Bones’ office and see Booth in his cool socks
Angela: Do you have a nickname Booth, something the other cops call you?
Booth just smiles
Angela: Congrats apparently.
Brennan: Those socks are awesome
Booth said something about his ties, socks, belt buckle being back, etc.
Bones: I slept with Sully last night
Booth: Oh I though you already -
Bones: No last night
Booth: Well it’s really none of my business
Bones: We’re parnters
Booth: Yeah, there’s that
Bones: And you told me about your socks
Booth: Sex, socks, pretty much the same word!
Bones: Do you have a case or are you just visiting?
Booth: Yeah. Let me fill you in the one way. It’s messy. Better get some protection.
Bones said something about getting her muck boots
Booth: Yeah, I’m going to need a flashier tie!
